The Sixers are a team in Australia's domestic T20 cricket tournament. Along with the Sydney Thunder, they are the sucessors of the NSW Blues in the now defunct Twenty20 Big Bash. The Sixers represent eastern Sydney and their home ground is the SCG while the Sydney Thunder represent Sydney's west and play out of ANZ Stadium. Their coach is Trevor Bayliss and their captain is Australian wicketkeeper Brad Haddin. The Sixers won the first Twenty20 Big Bash tournament on 28th January 2012 and won the Champions League later that year, beating the Lions in the final.
